an installation support file could not be installed catastrophic failure--I get this message when trying to uninstall iomega predator cd-rw38402EXT2-B. I can not install CD ether. I have went to control panel-add remove hardware & removed anything
related to iomega & also to safe mode, but can not remove Iomega Hot Burn CW

I moved your post to a more appropriate forum, BUT I'm currious how or why you originally posted your message in the news announment forum???
