I have a desktop and notebook computer and I want to set up wireless DSL router so I can access the internet from my notebook. I have a wireless card for my notebook but do I also need a wireless card for my desktop or can I just use the standard network card that I currently have in my desktop?

Assuming your router has a LAN port/Switch built in as opposed to 100% pure wireless then you can use the standard NIC in your desktop, and the wireless card in your laptop.
