Okay, I want to set up a vpn so my friend can grab things off my computer. I have a dlink router, and I am trying to figure out what the deal is. I registered with dyndns.org and got the client installed and it seems to be updating fine. I tested out with another machine at my house and it did not go through. I am not sure what port I should open up on the firewall to let people in and out. Please help!!! Thanks!!!

Your firewall is probably blocking it and giving you the not available... try it from outside your house, you maybe surprised...
your firewall is doing this because, you have a connection coming from the WAN that says it originated from the LAN...(*typical spoofing activity*)...

You may need to look at the ports that your router listens on, port forwarding. .. OR probably setting up a DMZ to get VPN to work...

connect to the machine from your other machine using its internal address/name....

okay, I am getting closer, but I am getting a 421 Server is closed, no more connections allowed error. I set my max number of users to 4 and I have no one on. Any ideas? I tried it with IE and bulletproof. I am stuck.
