[CD ROM Issue] -

Windows XP pro, with a samsung 52x cdrom drive. If manually eject CD, that cd title stays intact when view in my computer. Will not allow me to read another CD unless I put that CD back in and right click on the drive and select eject. Harware or XP issue? Any help would be great.

Secondly, what view are you using? Thumbnail, by chance?

Just a first thought, check your IDE cable and power connections to the CD-ROM drive; be sure they are tight. :)
