Not sure if this question belongs here but I'm going to ask anyway, I use a chat room to talk about a local baseball team but I keep on getting booted out of it because I brought up a question about a local football team so the admin keeps booting me. Is he doing this through my IP address? If so, is there a way to get around it without changing my IP? How?

The site is hosted on a linux OS.

Any help is much appreciated.

Im sure this sounds stupid, but dont know what all you have tried or how the site is setup. Have you changed user names or have you tried it from another computer.

also try deleting all of your cookies and temporary internet files, they might have something stored in there that is identifying you to the admin, try calling your ISP and asking them to send you a different IP address, then reboot your PC, that could help
