does anyone know of a simple and cheap way to network 2 laptop computers in the same room but neither have an ethernet port...
one runs on Win XP
and the other on Win ME

you can get a usb connector that will go btw the 2 computers. I dont think this will be fast enough as the usb is only 11mb. Cheapest way would be to get two network cards and put a crossover cable between them.

Sneaker-net :p jk... wireless would be too expensive if your looking for a cheao way. Tech4hires second suggestion is your best bet.
