is there anyway to make gta3 run faster since it is a bit jerky even though i have a 64mb video card

You can try shutting down ALL non-essential apps that are running.

That is about the only thing I can think of without spending money.

You could always buy more RAM and upgrade your card.

I have sort of the same problem, except I have a nVidia Riva TNT2 Model 64 (32MB, I thought it was 64 for a long, long time lol).
Wherever I look at the ground (in game >.<), it goes really smoothly and top speed, whenever I look straight up, same thing :), but whenever I look straight, WOW IS IT SLOW :(!
Is there some in-game video settings that might help or anything??

Works pretty well. The game doesnt look [u]quite[/u] as pretty afterwards, but it works.
