k so get this.

I downloaded the ISOs for Fedora, this was a cpl of weeks ago (under the name of Severn) I burnt them onto a CD.

I was unable to burn CD1 file musta been corrupt, so i re-downloaded it(Now under the name of yarrow) I burnt it.

So last night i was installing it and it asked for CD2, i put my CD2 in and it says it isnt a valid CD...

So I am @ work now, re-downloading CD 2 and 3 (yarrow) I have burnt them.

My computer is still running (asking for the CD). So im gonna whip it in when I get home.

that was my little story, my question is, I went with the server package and gnome, is this a good combo? whats the diff between gnome and KDE?

The main difference is the look and feel. Everything still uses the same commands and stuff, but there are different packages for each.

Gnome's better!! I've just never been able to get into kde, or anything else for that matter. It's basically all your preference...I'd say install both, run kde for a week gnome for a week, and any others you want to try :)
