i've only noticed this problem in far cry, but that is really the only game i play much of so i don't know if it's a software problem or not:confused: .

anyways, after i've been playing for maybe 5-6 minutes, all of a sudden my fps drops (or maybe my ping times go up, how do i check?) that games gets fairly laggy. it's not to the point that it's unplayable, but it definetely begins stuttering and having a hard time. my cpu temps are about 59-61c while i play. the gpu temps are somewhere around 70.

anyone know what's wrong?

Those CPU temps are a bit high

it's a fairly average temp for prescotts to run at. most of the time i'm running between 40-45 normal use (browsing web, opening/closing various applications).
