Do you guys think its worth the money to get two HDDs, one small 10K rpm drive for windows and another for everything else? How much would you increase performance by doing this?

get a seagate barracuda 250GB 7200RPM SATA for the big space and get a WD Raptor 74GB 10k RPM SATA for the OS. I guess the OS will load faster and you can save your data onto the Seagate.

if u got the extra cash to dish, upgrade something else that will increase performance (gfx card, ram, w/e) Getting 2x sata hdds in raid would be just as good if not better than the raptor.

Would doing one of these things (putting windows on raptor or getting raid 0) give me any advantage when gaming?

Forget the Raptor... the performance to money ratio ain't worth it.

Grab a couple of Seagate SATA HDDs with NCQ and put them in a RAID0 setup. Pretty much the same performance as the Raptors, but half the cost.

Advantage? Quick access times. Need I say more?
