Hi guys, I just bought a new Asus motherboard. Do I need to do anythnig other than pop my old parts in? Im upgrading from a Biostar m7vig 400 and a Athlon xp 3000. O ya another thing,I bought a Volcano 10 fan for my cpu. Do i need to clean off my old thermal paste off my cpu before putting it on? If so,how should i clean it off? Thx for the help

Clean it off with a soft CLEAN cloth and a high-alchohol solution, preferrably Isopropynol.

You should be able to just pop the parts in, might have to install the motherboard drivers too, but that should be about it.

Always clean before putting new paste on.always.

You'll have to reinstall Windows as well.
