look at this http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?Manufactory=&PropertyCodeValue=0&PropertyCodeValue=523%3A15794&PropertyCodeValue=0&PropertyCodeValue=0&PropertyCodeValue=0&PropertyCodeValue=0&PropertyCodeValue=0&description=&MinPrice=&MaxPrice=&SubCategory=147&Submit=Property seems like a good deal (bottom one).
Anyways. around 250 would be best. Is there a visible difference between 240 pin and 184? i though 184 had 2 splits in it, and 240 had 1

the reviews are good, its cheap, and its pc 4200. it says ddr2, is this a feature or do all mobos support this?
Posted by: Dark_Sniper*
yes it is your mobo has to support dd2 its a different type.

If your not planing on OC'n then you really don't need to waste money on high-end ram. You could do very nicely with a good pair of value sticks.

Patriot XBL is quite good, it uses Samsung TCCD chips. Just ask Nubius. He uses them, and OCing is, well, his passion/hobby/life/any other thing i can think of
Posted by: timmer
it all depends on if ur overclocking or not and it souns like u arent. soo just gt the cheepest stuff u can find corsair value is great. i would go with that.

How can I find if my mobo supports it? I am looking under the memory section and it isnt helpful. Think I should call em or something?

Seems like a good deal to me http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820161667 it has a lifetime warranty too.

Ok is this good? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820141227

Getting good RAM isnt just for overclocking. Its called reliability. If you get **** ram, more than likely you will have **** problems down the road. I had problems with Ultra ram, so I got rid of it and got some OCZ. I am not a OCZ fanboy but I have OCZ Ram in 75% of the systems that I have.

Well, I have to get cheap stuff because im not paying for it. I am taking a 3D animation class through my high school, and need to upgrade for it. Cept' I have to use Has Animation Master. Which is stupid.

I mean Hash Animation Master

I can't believe no one has answered this. No, you CANNOT get DDR2/240-pin RAM for your AMD system. You must get 184-pin DDR RAM.
If you are looking for value RAM, Corsair is a good one....
