Hey all, I am new to this forum, Hi!

I have a P2 400mhz PC that freezes constantly but not always in the same amount of time. Although usually within 30 minutes or less.

I have: run a full diagnostics which shows everything hardware to be fine, reformatted and replaced Windows with both 98 and 2000 Pro, replaced the memory, power supply and processor with another 400mhz. But no matter what I try it still freezes.

Any ideas?

Your motherboard could be failing since you've done just about everything. Another thing you could check is the hard drive. I had an old machine and the hardrive would turn itself off occasionally and freeze the entire system.
