I know it's probably too late to b1tch about it.. some time last year, probably around this time I purchased some memory from Newegg which they advertise as 2-3-3-6
Well, I was doing some benchmarking this afternoon and trying to get some info on different computer parts I look up the memory and it's displaying the following:

Is the software innacurate? Is it too late to take my complaint to Newegg? :(
It shows the same info for both modules.

Have you tried to go into the BIOS and adjust the settings manually?
If not go in there and choose the manual option and set timmings accordingly.
I would guess that the BIOS default setting is auto, and that it would automatically set the timings higher so that a wide variety of RAM would work properly.

Ok. I got the timings as advertised. What's a good reliable RAM diagnostic utility out there?

CPU-Z, it does RAM and Processor and a bunch of crap.

CPU-Z
Some ram, you may need to manually set the timings.

He will have to adjust the timings regardless.

Yeah I went into the BIOS and adjusted the timings manually to 2-3-3-6 and bumped the voltage to 2.7 from the original 2.6.
Seems to be stable.
