Running Windows ME with a 1.5GHZ Sony Vaio, 512MEG RAM. I can't get Netscape 's Back and Forward icons to work! They are 'ghosted' all the time. Tried reinstalling, but no good. Anyone got a fix? :mad:

Yeah, the fix is. Use Internet Explorer.

Chopper. . . tried to install IE and it wanted to register me via a dial up number. This didn't work since I have a CABLE MODEM
and got a 'could not connect message' (DUH!!) I just downloaded Opera 6.0 and it works fine so far. It's 'free' but someone told me it's 'advertisement driven'. So, thanks for that heads up, but Billy Gates dropped the F*****g ball once again. :mad:

You probably have the caching disabled or pointing to an invalid directory for temp files in NS.
