Discuss What are your system specs?

Since a majority of people no longer have their system specs in their sig, I have decided to start this thread and make it a sticky. The reason is because people are talking about things such as game performance and I have no idea what their system specs are. Ill start with mine.

if you read my profile u see that i have a P3 that i fix up after someone threw it out. it runs great i have 1024 MB of SDRAM but my only problem is playing games. i have an ATI 7500 64MB DDR PCI. when i try to play homeworld or homeworld2 the game starts off ok but then it starts to slow down, like watching a movie in slow motion. i hate it. my board support AGP 4x. what is a decent graphics card to put in there that is not too expensive.
i know you're all thinking build a better system, well that is coming as soon as i buy all of the components.

AGP 8x cards will run in an AGP 4x motherboard. however it needs to be set to 4x. AGP 2x uses more voltage and can damage the card
depending on what you can afford, I would suggest a Geforce 5200, Ti4200, or Radeon 9600 (it would get slowed down by the CPU though)

Maxtor 6Y080L0 80 GB HDD
LITE-ON COMBO LTC-48161H CD-RW/DVD

I know among all you people this isnt impressive, but my dad got me the laptop for xmas last year (cost him 50 bucks ....woohoo go having connections) and the desktop was quite cheap (about a year old i wanna so)
Anyway i have a bunch of random comps (ooooolllldddddd) that i aquired through a church/school that was giving them away because they got new comps....so you know they are old; i love disassembling things....so i had to get them

Creative SoundBlaster Audigy Gamer (funny story on this one, I ordered a soundblaster live, but they screwed up my order n' got me this one, and charged me the price of a live! haha! so at the time, I got the best soundcard (at the time) cheap cause they couldn't read the box)
1gig of PC2700 RAM
Artec Guardian case
Logitech MX1000 laser mouse
Maxtor 20GIG HD
Seagate Barracuda 80GIG HD (<< very good one actually, and I got it at a sweet price too, I think only $70 CAD)
generic keyboard w. faded keys cause my micro's too strong, lol.
some 17" Ennovision dying monitor
generic speakers
52x48x52 sony cd burner (driver support is non-existent.. and it randomly vanishes from my os after bruning cd's..)
12xsomethingxsomething (lol..) bulldog dvd burner (omg, such crappyness, takes FOREVER to burn even a cd-r, like 20 minutes! rediculous.. needless to say I use it only if I have to)
That about wraps up me comp.. oh, os's
Windows XP Pro
Fedora Core 3
yep, that's aboot it.

Check the sig. My specs are crappy right now, because I'm actually looking into building a good one. But I usually question myself why, because I only use it for Internet, if I ever get the urge to game or something it's mostly Starcraft or CS. Nothing too big, so if I build one it's not gonna be all hooked up and crap. It'll be good enough, lol.

Why does everyone have AMD Athlons? Is it the value for price, upgrade options, or what? I always heard/thought that Athlons were cheaper with poorer performance, in opposition to the Intel chips.
Posted by: chinh
AMD is usually 10-20% cheaper, I like to think AMD is geared towards gamers. I personally would of gone AMD if I didn't get such a good deal on my INTEL P4ht.

AMDs are more stable than Intel.
They may run a bit hotter, but when forceing them at full load, overclocking or even lowering core voltage for cooler cpu temps they run stable and hardly crash as compared to intel.
The difference in stability is why gamers use AMD instead of intel.

Hello all; obviously, i'm new here.
Down to buisness:
I'm looking for advice on upgrades that will allow me to play more recent games; HL2 works fine on mostly high settings, but BF2 refuses to work; thus, i beleive i'm starting to fall behind.
Obviously, i'm looking for a new processor with more the 2 GHz, a 256MB graphics card of good quality, possibly a new motherboard (If that's neccecary), and perhaps more ram (again, if neccecary).
I've never done any work with hardware in my computer before, and have only recently bothered to look into the upgrade ability of the computer. I realize this isn't a "help me" thread, so please pm me with any advice.
Posted by: uzi9mm
Your RAM is faster than the other because you probably put 2 sticks of 512mb in...
1 stick is PC-3200 (400mhz DDR)
1 stick is PC-2700 (333mhz DDR)
Because you have 2 different speeds, 1 stick is underclocking itself to the other speed of the stick
Posted by: Ravenhart
Both sticks are PC2700. I know what latency is, and my CPU-Z says that one has 2.0 and another has 2.5. I understand the relevance, but not the reason. if i'm clogging this thread with a space consuming conversation, please let me know.

Heyyo,
Since you're new? welcome to Tech-Fourms eh? :)
Anywho, this ain't your fault, it's DICE's. BF2 suffers from lack of compatibility with a lot of vidcards. If you cheir their official list, it's pretty much "have a ATI Radeon 9000 and up, or an x200 and up, or a geforce fx and up, or a geforce 6000 and up or you can't play the game." So it's a kick in the teeth eh?
All you really need is a new vidcard. There's a lot out there. the 6600GT is a forum favorite, but if you wanna save a few bucks the ati radeon 9800 pro's pretty good too. the 9800 pro's more of a budget vidcard between those 2, but it'll play games like bf2 very nicely.
If those are too expensive? a ATI Radeon 9600 Pro or an Geforce FX5700 (not LE, they suck) will also play the game.
If you have a big-big budget (ya lucky rich buggers, lol) you could always get a Geforce 6800GT (I would also say the ATI Radeon x850 series are good too.. but they're overpriced.. dangit ATI, what happened to ya? you crapped out on your PCIE lineup...).

serious question here cuz i just wondered, so dont like flame me or anything.
but why would people care what others pc specs are? i mean i dont get the point really...to feel envy/brag or what?
and if its bragging rights on your hard work and money thats fine but why would someone else care especially since they cant see it in action?

Heyyo,
Another good reason is to see what kindof system specs others have. Ya know? so if you're buying a comp, and you see like, 10 people or more on this forum using a certain cpu like an AMD Athlon64 3200+ venice core, and they are plenty happy, don't you think you'd feel like you're getting quality parts?
Soon I'm gonna be getting a 6600gt. A rare one, it's an apollo 6600gt. Pretty interesting look onnit, looks like an old gf4 ti series vidcard, but it ain't. I've seen pics and how it preforms, looks plenty good to me. ;)
http://www.cluboc.net/reviews/video/joytechapollo6600gt/
that's a review, card looks like it comes with some good stuff, just need to put on some decent thermal paste is all really. One thing I like about this review is it shows some OCing mixed in. Note how much more a prefromance gain is with ocing the cpu over the vidcard, interesting stuff eh?
Posted by: Flanker
This is the computer I'm building right now.
AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Venice (Plan to OC this to atleast 2.5, hopefully 2.6).
2 x 512MB Corsair Value-something RAM. (Plan to increase this to 2 GB in about 2 months).
Maxtor 160GB DiamondMax Hard Drive
Probably nVidia GeForce 6600 GT, or 6800 GT.

yeah buying a computer, that would be good if everyone showed benchmarks too and told what they liked/ didnt like...i could show mine, its a great gaming pc but due to other problems..like standby wont work (not software related) i'd hate to show my specs and have someone build what i have cuz those minor problems do kinda suck pretty bad sometimes.
i did buy an athlon and seeing how many were happy with it, but i'm not cuz after all the benchmarks i did compared with my oc'ed p4 3.4, i got pretty much the same scores, games run maybe a few fps higher but i do regret spending all that money...so overall i still dont see a great reason for specs, but as long as everyone loves it thats all that matters

computers at my moms house:
Mac G4 Tower 1.25 ghz, 768mb ram, ATI 9200 pro with 64mb
A little slow and dated for the price, but its not a bad computer
AMD 2800 64 slightly overclocked
with 512mb ram, GF FX 5700 LE with 256mb(I highly do not suggest this videocard for its proformance to cost ratio, get an ATI of similar price)
At my dads house:
AMD 2600xp overclocked more then the 2800 because it is better for overclocking
with 512mb ram, ATI 9600se with 256mb (bought this videocard before we got the GF5700, spent the same emount of money on it and it kicks the nvidias ***)
Old crappy PIII HP that I'm trying to run Ubuntu linux on. One of its fans was making noise so i took it off and it still runs fine
Computers I own myself:
Mac G4 powerbook 1.33 ghz, 256mb ram, Gforce Go 5200 with 64mb, 12" 4-6 hours batt life
Im not a mac or pc fanboy, but for the price, this laptop is very small, light and has decent battery life. it also proformes very well for its size
In the mail(should get here tomorrow):
AMD FX-55
ATI X850x PL
2 gigs Patriot EP ram
1 160 gig maxtor HDDs
not much to be said here other then other then :) :D :) :o :p  :bald: ;) ;)

Sound Card: Can't remember this one either, but it's not that good.
Screen: Hyundai ImageQuest L90D 19" LCD Monitor
Could someone give me feedback on it? My friend recommended most of the parts seen as I know nothing about the internal workings of a PC. It would be much appreciated!

seperate HDs? if so, check the rpms . ..that 10gb might be old school compared to the 80gb that is prolly 5400rpm . ..
if thats partition, then nvm.

no, they're seperate drives. it's kind of a pain in the ***. especially with the ten, because windows wont let me format it for installation of windows XP. and i forgot how to format in command prompt.

format c:\ /s
then you can be handicaping your computer's speed with a slow HD.
just reinstall on the 80gb
fdisk and do 20-60 if you want, or 10-70 haha, but all on 80 is fine --IMO

you need a DOS boot disk, and a program called Fdisk.exe (compatible with the DOS version you get)
delete the partition, and you don't have to re-create the partition in Fdisk, you can do that when you install XP

Nive rig bradybnmci. Just looking down your spec and well the thing that jumps out is that you have 3Gb of RAM?? Strange amount of RAM, and I was just wondering if you do any rendering or image editing? You overclcoked anything on that rig?
I take it arandalle has yet to prove that he owns a comp with that spec then?

I'll bet my left nut he doesn't.

Haha, I'll bet my right one to make it even :)

That system is a prototype of our Phoenix(R) product line of systems. After testing and QC, I chose to use the system as my gaiming rig (it would be a waste if I didn't)
Posted by: vaderpro
Cool, what did you pay for it? And let's see some pics.
Posted by: arandalle
Like i said be4, I will release pics and other info whien i launch my website on Sept. 30th. However, i can tell you that the case is a specially modified Lian-Li design.
Posted by: the deceived
So this a prototype? So your saying that you are actually going to sell this from your website? How much are you going to charge for the whole computer just to make a profit??

Yes, this a prototype of our top-of-the-line system. (It was the SCSI RAID testbed) I will not release priceing at this time.

how do i get my specs?

What you need to do is:
1. Right click on My Computer in the Start Menu,
2. Click Propeties from theat menu,
3. Then click the hardware tab at the top of the new box that's just opened,
4. Click the device manager from that menu,
5. Look down through the list at your components :)

Well since I putt my gutts on here. Can somoeone tell me what is upgradeable on my pc? This is all stock. Its prett fast and tv comes in prett clear. Games are a snap. But I start to worry when I run virus scan or adaware because my fans are loud it has a couple but i figure this is the place to go . The computer people in my city say the ATI Radeon 800 is about as High as I can go with my system. Thanks
Posted by: the deceived
I'm looking through your spec and well I'm slightly confused at the figues about half way down:
1 MB
1 GB
128 MB
2 GB
I'm guessing seeing as the type of RAM you have (i.e. the DDR-SDRAM) comes underneath the 2Gb figure, you actually have 2Gb, but not too sure about that. If you have I'd be EXTREMELY surprised, but if you have, then you won;t have to upgrade for at least two years.
You do have to upgrade your card if you want to fun games like BF2 and FarCry at reasonably good graphics. You have an AGP motherboard and so I'd suggest that your best bet at an AGP card would be the nVidia GeForce 6800Ultra, but I don't know how much you have to spend. That is the best AGP card out at the moment, and if you can't afford that, go for either the 6800GT or just the plain 6800. Don't go for the X800 from ATI though, nVidia is the way :D

THAT SITE "http://www.randalletech-pc.com/" looks so unprofessional , i doubt it will ever show those pics promised
Posted by: the deceived
It does look unprofessional but it is only a page saying that it will be finished on September 30th. I'd give the guy a chance at least to prove himself, although I am (like most of you) very sceptical about this super machine :( But don't get me wrong, if h can prove it's built, I'll be one person who will be very shocked :D
Posted by: waynejkruse10
if he has actually built it, good on him. If you are going to make computers like that professionaly you will need a lot of capital to get you started. If its true, i think this is really good because there are a few "luxury" pc vendors but none in this sense.
But what makes me and a few others suspicious is that he hasnt given us a picture or screenshot. But also, why would he build a website and register a domain just to trick us? So somthing must be happening.
Posted by: Raekwon
it'd cost an aweful lot build each one and a lot of time if the cases are specially modded. i hope he is legit, it'd be awesome to see a system like that in action :D
i doubt there would be such a big market for something like that, although i admire what he's doing. but seriously, who is going to pay the the price of a good second hand car for a computer? (admittedly an insanely fast computer, but still...) also why is it an FX-57? why not use a 4800 X2 toledo? its not as if the person who is going to buy one will notice the difference in price :p

no computer is too slow if it does what you want it to do. Eg. My grandma with a 66mhz 486, and it does everything she wants it to do.
Posted by: SHOCK3R WOLF
Well, thats true, when you buy a computer you need to make sure that the computer has what you need, and get rid of what you don't. My father has about the same computer, but for what he does its fine.

go the semprons :). i think theyre about $120 here though. yeah about that other guy. i'm curious as to where he bought his 600gb hdd. by the way if you really want to prove a point you should list manufacturers because having 2gb of ram thats worth less than the gum on my shoe isn't anything to brag about. don't ever come around here with a 2.8ghz pentium 4 and tell us we have crappy computers. that mega cheap sempron will give your p4 a run for its money.

i never said anyone had crappy computers???????

:) sorry about the confusion, like i edited you can say whatever you like because you tend to back it up and you've proven yourself on the forums. for someone with 8 posts to make a remark like that is not cool though
Posted by: uzi9mm
well actually after seeing how nicely a cheap AMD performs, i am considering an AMD based computer for my next computer :)

I got my Sempron 2800+ from Nintek. I emailed and phoned them because i really wanted to know the stepping of it. I did my homework - looked up the Palermo core on Wikipedia and i learned that the E4 and E6 steppings had the SSE3. I also found out this table:
* 128 KB L2-Cache (Sempron 2600+, 3000+, 3300+)
* 256 KB L2-Cache (Sempron 2500+, 2800+, 3100+, 3400+)
So I was told by Nintek that the Sempron 2800+ they had were E6 revision. And since it was a 2800+ I got the 256k of cache. $110 it costed me.
Then the board I ended up getting was the Asus K8N-E Deluxe. I was very impressed with it for only AU $105. Socket 754, 3 Dimm, 6 SATA, Raid 0,1,0+1,5,10, Firewire, 8 ch Audio. I found that that was amazing value. In my opinion people should either get Sempron or Dual Core. Anything in between is really a blur of performance. If you had the money mabye a Venice 3000+ so you can keep your mobo but the performance difference of all the single core Semprons and Venices is negligible. However dual core is a different story :)
Posted by: nitestick
:)doing homework always pays off. good stuff wayne. lesson 1 people: if you live in australia shop nintek.
Posted by: waynejkruse10
i like nintek, they give great service but they arnt always the cheapest. I have bought stuff from at least 10 different shops and they have all been good.
I bought my mobo from a shop in queensland, they had a great price for the motherboard but had a bad site but they were still great to deal with.
Posted by: nitestick
lol lesson 1b: don't always shop from nintek. shop around for the best prices but nintek is a pretty good place to start.

GAH, I feel like slapping your face. Your computer is by no means crap, its much better than the computers my friends have which are pentium 3 era.

that pc is fairly decent. up until december last year i was running a PII-400 and before the PII (which i got in about April last year) i was running an overclocked PMMX-166@200mhz

no too fancy, was on a budget so I couldn't do too much but meh:
-AMD64 3200+ OCed from 2.0 to 2.6(Running at 4100+ speed :P)
-Jetway 939agp-p motherboard
-AOpen 6600gt OC from 500/900 to 561/1100
-2x512mb gigaram running in dual chanel
-380Watt PSU (next on list of to-upgrade)
-AOpen dvd/cd burner
-160gb WD hdd 7200rpm
-4 case fans, replaced stock cpu cooler
-2.0 channel sound card (crappy on-board 7.1 audio is fried  )
-22 blue and red LEDS on case window
-old dell 15" monitor (top resolution is 1200x1024)
-xp home
the replacement cooler on the CPU is a behemeth so my 80mm window fan has to be mounted on the OUTSIDE of the window to fit.

You mean HT? not 2.
Posted by: jdhore1
It IS HT, but i have HT disabled and i have 2 physical processors
Posted by: uzi9mm
2 physical cores. 1 cpu.
Posted by: jdhore1
i know what Dual-Core is, i know what Hyper-Threading is...I have 2 CPU's
Posted by: uzi9mm
2 cpu's would mean that you would have 2 seperate CPU's.........
You have 1 cpu, with 2 cores onboard.
Posted by: jdhore1
NO I DO NOT...I HAVE 2 SEPARATE CPU'S
Posted by: waynejkruse10
its very possible he does have a dual cpu config, they exist uzi.
Posted by: Scooby
Hey jdhore1, can you post what kind of motherboard you are using. Unfortunately you forgot to add that when you posted your specs. That would clear up this 2 CPU confusion.
BTW great setup you got their.
Posted by: waynejkruse10
2nd'd, post your motherboard
Posted by: nitestick
i was under the impression multi-processor support was stripped from the pentium 4 series and left only for the xeons. there is no use having a dual cpu motherboard if the processor does not have multi-cpu support. i could be wrong though in which case i apologise
edit: also surpisingly enough the latest EE dual core is clocked at *drumroll* 3.73ghz :/
Posted by: jdhore1
I bought my procs before dual-core came out...BTW, my mobo is a custom one from a website that went belly up that made custom motherboards...Their URL WAS: http://www.custommobo.com

They dont exist. no such thing as a dual CPU Extreme Edition/Pentium 4 setup. I know what i am talking about......
And jdhore1 your full of BS... That domain has not been used in the past 2 years, I did a whois history check which I can go up to 2 years back..... And no records were found, now.... are you going to lie to us telling that your CPU is more than 2 years old????

the sig says it all, but ill explain my craptastic hp pavilion neways
its my current project, i snagged it from a trash can behind a local high school. it had a bad psu and was gutted(except for dvd, rw, and hd) had no os installed, but had all,(i mean all of em) 3 system restore disks. so all i did was run down to best buy and bought a matx psu(the original was a fried 140 or somethin watt brick, now i have a 250 watt, but the only prob was its a matx case that uses a atx(not a typo, an matx case with a atx psu) psu, so i had to go get an adapter. and got it running, its pretty good, but these onboard graphics suck, so im in the process of upgrading the mobo and the hd(as soon as i get $$$) but i like the case because of its flexibility. it had no ram so i had to scavage the trash yet again and find some ram( found 2 matching 128 mb cards). and that is how it sits right now. i want to get it set up to at least play halo and some stuff, but till then i have to stick with this craptastic game from the mid 90's called mechwarrior(the first one)
Posted by: Apokalipse
you cannot have a dual pentium 4 system. Even if you made a dual socket 478/775 motherboard, the Pentium 4 itself cannot run alongside another Pentium 4. it's hard to explain why, but it's to do with the architecture.

Jeesh-- I don't even remember, I built this thing three years ago (and, I've owned many computers)-- that's like a million years in computer years. The cool thing-- is that it's still totally viable. I've got 512 of ram, 150 gigs of storage, an Athalon XP of some sort-- it's the best running machine I've owned.
Though, to be fair, I just bought a Gateway laptop three months ago from Best Buy (I hate them) that has all the bells and whitstles: 100 gig HD, 1 gig ram, Pentium this-or-that, wide screen, DVD burner-- and honestly, I've turned it on maybe three times.
Ahh well-- I love my PC.

updated computer specs for me:
Pentium 4 2.8ghz "Prescott" LGA775 800mhz FSB 1mb L2 Cache
1024MB DDR PC-3200 (2x512mb Mushkin in Dual Channel Config)
XFX 6600GT 128MB VRAM AGP8x (500/1000)
40GB Western Digital HD 7,200 RPM 8mb Cache "Caviar" IDE
250GB Western Digital HD 7,200 RPM 8mb Cache "Caviar" IDE
VIA Firewire Controller
Soundblaster PCI *idk what model it is, it is from 1998ish*
I guess my PC has reached the "end of life", i feel so outdated with this thing. I am hoping/aiming that my next pc will be a 2.4ghz-2.66ghz conroe with 2gb of ddr2 667, and a 7900GTX.
My original config with this PC was:
Pentium 4 Prescott 2.8ghz
512mb PC3200 Mushkin
Jetway 9600nonpro 128mb <- this thing plays americas army better than my 6600GT can.
40GB HD
onboard sound
I guess it was good for only costing me $500 back in nov 2004. ^

Two worlds:
Gateway
CRT
Why??
Posted by: Sylus
Not my choice, my mom bought it for me. I'm gonna buy a 19 or 20 inch LCD screen when I get the money. I'll keep the CRT monitor though and build another computer with all the stuff I have left. I have 2 spare diablotek cases, a spare 9600 Pro (which I just cleaned a ton of dust of it's heatsink fan), a spare CD ROM and a spare floppy drive, a spare mouse, spare speakers, a spare LAN card, all I need is RAM, a mobo, a CPU and a PSU and I'll have a second rig.

I decided to make a spec page for all of the computers that were ever used in my household. It's nothing too mind-blowing, as none of them would be considered collector's relics, but anyway, here goes:
http://www.csc.calpoly.edu/~mkou/old_system_specs.html
I find it rather suprising that I have deacde-old, reused components still in use in my current machines (and that I still remember some of the exact components used in my old machines). Also, I am one of the early USB and TV-tuner adopters.

How did you get that Sempron to 2.3 Ghz? Mine is currently set to 2.2Ghz stock, does that mean that it's safe to make it higher? The BIOS currently supports up to 2.6Ghz.
Was that your old RAM, or did you get a entire new computer? Either way, you need more memory for such a good computer. :p

Sempron? That's my new Athlon that's @ 2.3,The only way you can raise your's is if your bios allow's you to oc which i don't think your Acer allow's,But yeah that's just my old ram for now untill i can afford some better stuff,I'll probably just be getting another 512mb set of some good oc'ing ram.

I just built this computer a few days ago. So let me know what you think,
Intel Core2 Duo E6600 @ 2.4ghz 4mb L2 cache 1066FSB
Asus P5B Motherboard
Asus En7950 512MB DDR3 550mhz engine clock. 1.4ghz memory clock.
1024mb DDR2 PC6400 RAM (800mhz)
250gb Sata Maxtor HDD 16mb Cache
2x Samsung 18xDVD -/+R/RW Dual Layer Retail Black with LightScribe
Cooler Master Cavalier 1 Silver 380W Case
Thermaltake Blue Orb II CPU cooler
DVico FusionPRO HDTV DVB-T Hybrid TV Tuner (PCI)
Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 5000 KB&Mouse
Samsung 740B 17 inch LCD Monitor
I really wanna add just a bit more RAM and possibly upgrade the PSU (although 380W seems to be handling everything fine atm.)
Posted by: talldude123
Nice build :D
I would've saved a little money by getting a 19" Monitor, E6300, and more RAM.
Posted by: kmarshall
Yeh i was considering the E6300 but it wanted to 4mb cache. I figured it was only $100 difference. The monitor, mouse and keyboard I took from my old computer lol so i haven't changed that yet.

Pentium and Celeron are the codenames.
Pentium D is dual-core. It's the superior of the Celeron. The Celeron and Celeron D are bargain-basement processors. The "D" means it has a slightly faster system bus, that's it.
Posted by: vernong1992
so like teh pentium d is like the celeron of dual cores now? core 2 duo being the pentium.....
Posted by: talldude123
Yep.
Pentium D is still good, but the Core Duo and Core 2 Duo are the fastest.

My comp is a heavily upgraded Dell Dimension 4400....
-P4 @ 1.6 GHz
-512 mb DDR RAM, dual sticks (upgraded from 256)
-Stock mobo
-Dual CRTs, one 17" the other 19"
-GeForce 6200 AGP graphics w/ 256 megs, no turbo-cache nonsense, also an upgrade
-Dynexy 5.1 sound card (piece of crap upgrade I got on Black Friday)
-Stock keyboard & mouse
-40 gig HDD @7200 rpm, 80 gig slave drive upgrade at 7200 rpm for media
-1 speaker (the other one no longer works) plus my own stereo
-secondary Iomega ZipCD650 external CD burner "upgrade"
-stock PSU (not sure of the wattage)
-upgrade to a PCI USB 4-port hub so I finally have USB 2.0 Hi-Speed instead of "slow-speed" USB
All-in-all, this PC sucks, I usually get less than 20 fps on all recent games even with relatively low settings, plus the CPU skyrockets to 100% usuage from something as simple as playing a song or watching a movie or opening firefox lol. This rig would take hours to complete SuperPi.
Good news tho, I'm saving for a new pc, my budget is 1500 - 2000 USD.
