Hi there ...

i have a CD Writer and would like to burn CD in large amount nowadays ...

however, i don't want to take the wrong way on buying low quality CD-Rs ...

here's my questions :

what kind of CD-Rs are recommended?

which brand is the best?

i heard that the lower surface color can affect the quality, how can i identify them?

i would also like to know which color is recommended for what usage ...

finally, can i burn CD-R more than once if the CD-R wasn't full?

Thanks in advance! ;)

Best regards from,

Hi.
IMO.......
I reccomend Verbatim CDRs They are great never had a problem with them and can burn any type of format on them without a glitch.
If i was you i would stay clear of the really cheap one.

I never use silver cdrs they seem not to last.
I use Blue for everything except audio. I use gold for audio because gold seems to work better in my cd players.

You can burn CD-Rs more than once if the CD-R wasn't full if you use burning software that support that.

Cheers

BTW: any one else wanna tell us you opinions?

I would suggest you steer clear of CD's that have unlabelled faces (ie. the top is plain silver). The top layer tends to scratch off easily, which renders the CD's useless.

Like Chopper said, if your CD isn't full, you can continue writing to it later on as long as you didn't "close the session". Almost all modern CD recording software supports recording multiple sessions on a single CD.
