All I'm working on making a windows interface for a Lucent wireless switch 5ESS and ECP.

Does anyone have test data from the ECP and 5ESS ROP logs? I need this to test some of my scripts.

Why not just use your own log files to test your scripts? Obviously, if I was to give you mine, I would have to edit out certain data ..

I'm not currently on a contract with a carrier, I'm doing some Cell Site Survey work( Boring but it gives me time to work on this). I could of sworn I had this data, but only grabbed the TRFC30 data on last contract, not ECP/5Ess logs. Believe me I was upset!!!

This interface is something I intend to market back to a carrier or equipment maker. If I were working for a carrier (as in the past) any software created while working for them would belong to them.

The interface basically delivers the the UNIX scripts to the ECP (FTP), then executes them(TeLNET), picks up the results, and puts into Excel Spreadsheets. It's all point and click... Minor, Major, Critical Alarms(5Ess, ECP...etc), Critical Triggers, Cell Site, DFC failures, so on......

Anyway.... wanted to ensure the scripts were 100%, The ROP I have is TRFC30 ROP. Would like to send some real ROP through it. Would really appriciate it.

You could edit out the header message, on each ROP message. You know the MSC name, where the time is located in the message. A CGREP | CUT should do the trick. This should clear the data of any tails.....Maybe also do a CGREP for DN and replace the dailed digits....Lets see what else? I can't think of any other MSC giveaways.....
