Does anyone know the best way to remove this darn bug? I've used adaware, and spy sweeper, and hijack this, and spy bot search & destroy. Adaware seems to be the only one that sees it. I've removed it with adaware, but it reappears when i reboot. I've used the tool you download from lavasoft; but it says that the PC is clean. It's obviously under a different file name, but how do you neutralize the darn thing? Enquiring minds want to know.:D

Bumblebee Tuna, we need to see a HiJack log, ok? So post one and we may be able to help. The Vx2 is a new variant that has lots of the best stumped so I may need to yell for help when you post your log. Liz

Have you tried scanning with your anti-spyware tools Safe Mode?

I have used spy removal tools in safe mode. It's logged under another name. But don't worry, I just reformatted the darn thing. If I come across it again, I'll post my hijackthis log. Thanks guys.
