Not sure, I've heard about this but haven't found much on a fix for it.

It deals with the choopy mic on Counter-Strike as a result of the combination of both Windows XP and the SB Audigy card. Some say just reinstalling the drivers work but this definately did not work.

Anyone? Thanks.
