For all people who (like me) really don't want SP2 to come through automatic updates, Microsoft released info on a regedit that will disable this for 4 months.

Simply add this Dword to the following registry key.

HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUp
date

Add this as a Dword and set it's value to 1

DoNotAllowXPSP2
