Just recently I have found a e-mail client called "Incredimail".
It is awsome with animations and bg's! There are good upsides:
• Free, not shareware, but unlimited trial version.
• Unlimited bg and animation downloads.

Downsides:
• You can't use skins or smart notifyers unless you reg it.
• Some clients have trouble with the background, but animations are fine
• Ads can get annoying, though, they only stay in the upper-right corner of the application. (Not popups ;))

Basicly though, it is more good than bad.

Yeah Incredimail has been around for a while.

Personally i use Pipex as my ISP and RunBox (www.runbox.com) for e-mail £20 per year for it and you can send up to 20 Meg attachment which suits me... ;)

I also hate the idea of a monopoly in any field. Micro$oft have more or less secured the PC market (for now). It really makes me sick that if anyone challenges these big companies then they stand no chance.

Interesting. Does anyone use Earthlink, cause my friend gets mail in HTML and just the code, and he is dimwitted, and wouldn't know how to check. I was gonna tell his father, but I don't use Earthlink. Got any ideas?

Posted by:

Earthlink isn't much used in the UK. :D

:D :D Finaly! I converted the HTML on my signature to VB code! That VB code is kinda un-conventinal. Now to do the LOTR test result thing!

P.S: Dante, Earthlink, In my opinion is worse than AOL, but that is just me ;).

Hmm so there is something worse than AOL out there! - I had AOL for a while (back in the days when i had dial-up) and it drove me nuts.
AOL are still sending CD's and stuff to our house to try and get us back.

Posted by: Vivec

Did AOL frezze up for you alot and always disconnect at the worse times, too?

Posted by:

Well it could be worse. If you lived in the UK you could be with BT who have now been capping peoples hours they spend on-line. Well that's for dial-up users. Me thinks it's a blatant attempt to get people onto Broadband and make a few more £££

I just use AT&T's web based email pretty much. They give me an address with Cable service so I should use it, and It prevents a lot of the M$ spread viruses...When I'm in Linux I usually stick to Evolution, and oh yea I use Hotmail Every now and then, hey I've had the account forever, since before it was M$, so no lip! :p hahahah.

Yeah, it's somethin' about Outlook that makes it so appealing.

When my new computer get setup, I may switch over to Netscapes mail client.

Been usin' Pine lately.. that's one package no Linux system should be without :)

Posted by: Vivec

Yep. Pine is nice. If a Linux SYS doesn't have it, the maker of that distro must be on dope. ;)
