Hai,

I've just uploaded the first files of my website, but when I surfed to the URL ([url]http://home.tiscali.be/switchback[/url]), I only saw an Index of uploaded files (like an [url]ftp://[/url] site)

How come and how to resolve it?

It is probably a setting on your server or htaccess file.
make sure you have an index.html
or index.htm
