Coolermaster (High Wattage Models Only)
I would argue against the High Wattage models only.

All of the real power series (including 450W) are quite reliable. my 450W Cooler Master could handle my overclocked 4600+, and voltmodded 7950 GT quite stably.

My source on that was Bigred on Overclockers Club.

He said that through his experience that the higher end models are those that which haven't caused him or people he knew peoples...

He goes through alot of hardware for testing purposes. Hes a beta tester and recieves many components for free or reduced price.

He even had the ATI 2900 cards a month or so early for testing..

Not to say you had better experiences with them..

If it make you happy I could add coolermaster to the lower and medium builds..

He said that through his experience that the higher end models are those that which haven't caused him or people he knew peoples...
the question is, how many of the same model did he test?

you can't discredit an entire range of a product because one person says they aren't quite as good, even if they do know what they're talking about.

I realise my experience is just one of many, but you can quite easily google some reviews for Cooler Master PSU's. The one's I've see rate them pretty high.

Lol.....

Good work on the compilation of PSU's Ste
Might be good to mention also that some Proprietary PSU's arefairly robust as well.... my Shuttle's PSU is 300W and powering everything in my Sig (gaming computer).

You spelt gaming wrong, like 2 times or so.
I sort of disagree with this a lot, I could recommend tons of PSU's from the "Medium to low end" that would do fine on a high end single or double card setup.

All of the PSU's on this list came from trusted sources. It's not to say that the ones you think of WONT work but ones that you should be using from experience.

As he stated this isn't just his thoughts but come from trusted sites and I agree.

Unfortunatly Its past the edit time allowed so any edits will have to be made by mods. So Eth Dragon or Apock can make any spelling changes or additions they want. Or they can let me edit it again and Ill do it. w/e

I edited it like 8 times fixing mistakes or mis spellings. But I eventually had to sleep. ;)

I don't agree with some of it either:
For example, reccomendations of ANY Coolmax or sunbeam power supplies.

However, I did not compile it out of my knowledge alone. Remember it was a culmination of many sources not just one.

It is my hope that it combined information from x amount of sources, to be as well rounded and inclusive as possible.

And Since I didn't agree with some of it I added that little 'The Simple version" Part.
