Hi All
I am using Internet Explorer to browse the net and have Windows XP installed. on my machine
Sometimes when a page is loaded, a weird sound "tudum" :) is heard. It is not repeatable, i am not sure if it has anything to do with popups.
can anyone help me, i would like to eliminate the sound.
Thanks

Did u disable the sound schemes ..does the sound continue to come ..ever after that ....??
Also are u some other browser other that IE?

I am using internet explorer 6.0. i got some other problems with my computer, so i am not disabling the sound for the moment. i checked out all the sounds in the windows folder, and none of them matched the one i hear.

are you sure ? In the windows directory under the media folder there is a file named " tada " this sort of sounds like the sound you are hearing.

no dude, it was not the tada sound.
it was something else, and now it has gone away

is that because you disabled the sound?
Have you tried resetting your IE Settings?
Also spyware/antivius your computer.
Good luck :D
