Hi
When i am accessing the net, i sometimes hear a funny sound, somthing like "pudum" when i access some sites, sometimes it is asscoaited with a popup and sometimes not, i have never witnessed this behaviour before.
what is this sound?

A sound coming from your speakers?
What OS are you running ? Win XP?

IE makes a little clicking noise when doing certain things.

It sounds like you have "mywebsearch" toolbar installed.
try to remove it through the add/remove programs.

Some Antivirus, Pop-up blockers and ad-blockers notify you when they have blocked something. If the sound is coming from your speakers, this is most likely the case.

Many addons such as toolbars (dogpile.com toolbar as an example) make noises to mark events.

If you have any of these currently installed,check for an option to turn the sounds off

yes, i think that might have been it, i am not sure but i think since i have installed norton antivirus the sound has gone
