Hi All, Newbie here !
I think I have been struck bu the above?
It all started when I tried to open a txt file and Zone Alarm asked me for permission to access the net, of course I said no!
Then my time and date were incorrect and now each time I log on my PC, Zone Alarm would like "WERULE" to access the net using different exe files.
I have tried spybot, adaware and pc-cillin, all not scanning the bug.
PLEASE HELP , before I wipe my hard drive and try again !!!!!
I have tried looking for the odd instruction on start up, but it is difficult if ou don't know what you are doing ?

Please get Spybot S&D to clear out any spyware.
 http://www.safer-networking.org/index.php?page=mirrors
Install the program and open it.
Before doing any scanning click Online and Search for Updates .
Put a check mark at and install all updates .
Click Check for Problems nd when the scan is finished have Spybot fix all it finds marked in red .
Then after reboot :
Download 'Hijack This!'. http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/ or from http://www.majorgeeks.com/downloadget.php?id=3155&file=3&evp=3304750663b552982a8baee6434cfc13
Unzip, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".
When the scan is finished, the " scan " button will change into a " save log " button.
Press that, save the log , load it in Notepad, and copy its contents here. Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet.
.

Hi Mobo !
Thank you for your reply.
I'm not sure if you read my other posts, but I ran hi-jack, deleted what I thought was the problem and it seemed to do the trick?
Thank you once again for your reply
